The short version. IncomeTrader sells education. We teach people how to research stocks and options and how to use screening tools. We are not a broker-dealer, an investment adviser, or a financial planner. We do not sell securities, manage anyone's money, or tell you what to buy. Your subscription renews monthly until you cancel, and you can cancel yourself online at any time.
The full terms below govern your use of the site. Please read them.

1. Who we are and what you're agreeing to
IncomeTrader.com is operated by Stock Market Edu, a Florida corporation ("IncomeTrader," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and us covering your use of IncomeTrader.com, our members area, our courses, our newsletters and commentary, our webinars, and our tools and calculators (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Educational purpose - this is not investment advice
This section is the most important one in this document. Please read it carefully.
We are educators, not advisers
IncomeTrader is an educational company. Everything we publish - courses, lessons, articles, market commentary, webinars, screener output, and calculator results - is general educational content. It is not tailored to you, your finances, your goals, your tax situation, or your tolerance for risk.
We are not registered
Neither IncomeTrader nor any of its instructors, employees, or contractors is registered as a broker-dealer, an investment adviser, a commodity trading advisor, or a financial planner with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, the CFTC, or any state securities regulator. We do not provide personalized investment advice and nothing in the Service should be treated as personalized investment advice.
We do not make recommendations
When we discuss a company, a stock, an option contract, a fund, or a strategy, we are using it as a teaching example. Mentioning a security is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold it. We do not tell you what to buy. We teach you how to do the research so that you can decide for yourself.
We do not handle your money
We do not manage accounts, place trades, hold funds or securities, or have any access to your brokerage account. Every transaction you make is your own decision, made in your own account, at your own risk.
We make no promises about results
We make no guarantee, projection, or promise of any financial outcome. We do not represent that any student has achieved, or will achieve, any particular result. Past results - ours, an instructor's, or another student's - do not predict future results.
Risk
Investing in securities involves risk, including the total loss of the money you invest. Options involve additional and different risks, can lose value rapidly, and are not suitable for every investor. Before trading options you should read the Options Clearing Corporation's disclosure document, "Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options," available from your broker.
Get your own advice
You should consult a licensed financial professional, and where relevant a tax professional or attorney, about your own circumstances before making any investment decision.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you give us is accurate.
The Service is intended for users in the United States. We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available for use in other jurisdictions, and you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.
4. Your account
- Your account is for you alone. Do not share your login credentials.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your password secure.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
- Keep your email address and billing information current. We use your email address for account notices, including billing and renewal reminders.
- We may suspend or close accounts that appear to be shared, resold, or used to scrape or redistribute our content.
5. Subscription, trial, and billing
The introductory trial
New members may be offered an introductory trial that provides full member access for 14 days for $0.99. The $0.99 is charged at signup and is not a deposit or a hold.
Automatic renewal - please read
Your membership renews automatically. When your 14-day introductory period ends, your membership continues at $24.99 per month and your payment method is charged each month on that date until you cancel. There is no contract and no minimum term - but the charge does recur until you stop it.
We send a reminder to your email address before your introductory period ends. You can cancel at any time, including during the trial, and you can do it yourself online.
Prices and taxes
Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable sales tax, which we will add where required. We may change subscription prices, but we will give you notice by email before a changed price applies to your account, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
Payment
You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for the amounts described above. If a charge fails, we may retry it and may suspend access until payment succeeds. You are responsible for keeping a valid payment method on file.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel yourself, online, at any time. Log in to the members area and cancel from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect immediately for future billing - you will not be charged again after you cancel.
If you would rather not do it yourself, you can also cancel by contacting us at cancel@incometrader.com or 239-823-5070 during business hours, or through our contact page. We will not require you to call in order to cancel.
Unless you request and receive a refund under our Refund Policy, cancelling stops future charges rather than reversing past ones, and your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for.
7. Refunds
Our refund practice is deliberately generous, and it is set out in full on our Refund Policy page, which forms part of these Terms. In short: if you are not happy, ask us and we will refund you, with the one narrow exception described on that page.
8. Our content and your license to use it
All courses, lessons, videos, articles, commentary, spreadsheets, calculators, screeners, graphics, and other material in the Service are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.
While your membership is active, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the content for your own education. You may print or download material for your personal use.
You may not:
- copy, republish, post, stream, or redistribute our content, in whole or in part;
- sell, license, sublicense, or share access to the Service or its content;
- use our content to build, teach, or market a competing course or service;
- use our content or output to train a machine learning or AI model;
- remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or attribution notice.
"IncomeTrader," the IncomeTrader logo, and our other product names are our trademarks. These Terms do not give you the right to use them.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl, spider, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or another user's account;
- interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
- reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source of our tools;
- harass other members or instructors, or post unlawful, abusive, or misleading content in any comment, chat, or webinar feature;
- use the Service to give investment advice to others, to solicit clients, or to hold yourself out as affiliated with us;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
10. Market data and third-party information
The Service displays market data, quotes, fundamentals, earnings dates, dividend information, option chains, and similar data supplied by third-party providers. We do not create this data and we cannot guarantee it.
Data may be delayed, incomplete, adjusted, or wrong. Prices shown are not executable quotes. Verify any figure independently before you act on it. We are not liable for errors, omissions, or delays in third-party data, or for any decision you make based on it.
The Service may link to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
11. Tools, calculators, and screeners
Our screeners, calculators, indicators, and models - including the covered call calculator, credit spread calculator, pivot point calculator, discounted cash flow model, strike price evaluator, and any proprietary indicator - are teaching tools. They apply general formulas to general data.
They do not know anything about you, your account, your holdings, your tax position, or your goals, and their output is not a recommendation and not advice. Any assumption built into a model may be wrong for a given company or a given market. Screener output is a starting point for your own research, not a list of things to buy.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that data will be accurate, or that the Service will meet your expectations or produce any result.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost trading profits, trading losses, investment losses, lost data, or lost goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service - even if we were told such damages were possible.
- We are not liable for any investment decision you make or for any loss in your brokerage or retirement account. Those decisions are yours.
- Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IncomeTrader, Stock Market Edu, and their officers, employees, instructors, and contractors from any claim, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your investment decisions.
15. Changes to these terms and to the service
We may update these Terms. When we make a material change we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for changes that affect your rights or your billing, notify you by email. Changes apply going forward. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
We may also add, change, or discontinue features of the Service. If we discontinue something material to your membership, you may cancel and request a pro-rated refund under our Refund Policy.
16. Termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if your payment method fails and is not corrected, if you share or resell access, or if we reasonably believe your use creates legal risk for us or other members. Where the circumstances allow it, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of your current billing period.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Before filing anything, please contact us. Nearly every dispute we have ever had was a misunderstanding that a phone call fixed, and we would rather fix it than litigate it.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service.
